The Greatly Anticipated, Vlog

Finally, the vlog has arrived. I am not crazy about it, but I have reached a point where I no longer care. I will tell you now: This will be awkward, for you mostly. It's longish, it's boring, it's unedited, it's ME:) Not sure if there will be another installment...I can't even watch this myself. There is a little lawn mowing in the background, but my neighbor was not receptive to me asking him to stop while I vlogged, sheesh. Also a crowd of neighboring onlookers were gathering near the end as my kids were screaming from inside the house. At any rate, you either be bored to tears, or get a good laugh.

  1. hahahah awesome vlog. Three things: 1. Dude, you called your dad brittle 2. "If I can contact you I will.." 3. Using a snowblower is not good exercise for dad. HAHAHAHA

We're pretty much twins. Except you're Asian and I'm not. I almost died trying to shovel a small (and I mean like 2 steps) sidewalk myself. I now pay someone with a plow.

  2. Cari, you're goofy and that made me chuckle out loud today! I've never watched a vlog until now. Interesting.

  3. @Christina- Heehee, luckily no one in my immediate family reads or cares to read my ramblings. So hopefully this will go un-noticed, but I'm sure it will filter through the grapevine and I will be...well, what's lower than black sheep? I do think we were seperated at birth. Let me know if you ever want me to be your vlog stand in:) I have done my share of shoveling, when my ex was everywhere else but home, I did it all the time; which is why I now passionately boycott it.

@Starthrower- I am what I am. I wasn't however drunk or medicated during taping, so yay for me. You should vlog, very freeing I must say. But I'm also not embarrassed easily, or care what people think, or shy, or humble...

  4. Cari, I like goofy! I wish I could be more relaxed that way. I never thought for a sec that you were vlogging under an altered state! Yes, you did spark an interest in me for vlogging. I enjoyed seeing the naturalness and the realness that words in type cannot capture. How many authors and artists are "altered state" like? I tell you, me in an altered state is something I would not be able to hide in a vlog! But, vlogging kind of messes with my anonyminity!! I always tell my daughter that people love to look at her and that is why she's going to be famous someday. And ya know, you are easy on the eyes as well and...goofy! Goofy is good, naturally.

    Awesome job girl!

I won't offer to shovel your snow but I would bring you a coffee (maybe even a fancy one with fancy syrup) and watch someone else shovel.

Anyways good job keep up the awesome work!

Sorry Cari, your family does look at your stuff and I thought it was great since that is the only way I can get to see you. There were tears of laughter. And by the way you aren't a very scary stalker! Luv ya, Aunt A.

  10. @Beard- I am the whitest white girl you will ever meet, seriously.

@Aunt Annie- I LOVE YOU! Your blowing my cover (I'm glad you read it though). I was NOT vlogging instead of coming to the family reunion, I promise. I could be scary...if I wanted to.

  11. Love it!! You are so much braver than me, lol. You are hilarious, you called your dad brittle, that is classic!!! We shovel a lot here in Michigan too, it sucks, and I beef the whole time, haha. I would totally bring you a cup of coffee, may be able to scrounge up some hot guys to shovel so we have some entertainment while drinking it. :-D Can't wait for the next vlog installment!!

  12. Angel, I knew we were blog friends for a reason...same wave length you and I girl. That video of me is totally un-caffeinated, I am 5 times more hilarious with coffee!

Not sure if there will be a second installment, as you heard, I had to "lock" my kids indoors, and they were screaming, "mooooom", quite a few times. And that was only for 6 minutes. They were always stealing my spotlight otherwise:)

By the way, just in case social services is reading, when I say lock..not really...there was no danger, and they just wanted a popsicle. No blood or crying, promise.

  16. @Suzi-No! You are fantastic, and yes my kids too! When your book comes out, I'm giving some copies away on the blog. I can vlog you a testimonial.

@Nessa-Maybe someday we'll have coffee face to face. And you will teach me how to be an amazing photographer...and nice.

@Steve-In retrospect, altered would have been easier-I highly recommend a six pack before you begin, you know, to take the edge off.
