You Get the Box!

So when the kids are naughty I usually just toss them in the toy box until they straighten out!  Or totally not, stand down CPS.   Caught this little video clip of the boy who has taken a liking to hiding in the toy box.  You'll notice he keeps saying, "cheeeeese", because I told him I was recording it.

Cautionary Disclaimer:  He can get out all by himself, and he can breathe in there too.

Oh yes, translation on the last sentence, "want to go play".  He watched this video 20 times and it cracked him up.  Nice to know my kids are easily am I.

  1. Bahahah...he came out like "this box is too peanuts."

Nearly peed on myself at "you get the box." Reminded me of the game my daughter created from the laundry basket. It was called "Am I Playing or Am I Really Stuck?" I kept ignoring her until one time she was really stuck.

Son is adorable, btw. You're gonna have to beat down some chicks one day (along with the dudes after DQ). Call me. I'll help.

  2. Once, when my daughter was a baby and learning to crawl, she scooted backwards and got stuck under the toybox. I kinda felt bad because I was laughing so hard and left her stuck there and ran to get my camera. Doesn't seem like she scarred from the incident.

Maybe we could do an arranged marriage, your daughter, my son; then we'd be related...sort of!

  3. "Cheeeeese!" I love that. Cutest thing ever.

  4. Hey,

I've been a follower for a little while now... first time post though :)

I was wondering if you ever covered the topic of storing cord blood? Banking privately, or donating to a public one? I've used this site to help with my decision: , but would really like a more human perspective.

Anyway, just thought I'd float the idea for a post by you.

    All the best!

  5. Funny one :) I am amazed how kids can be so creative and playful and downright funny all at the same time. Nice video btw :)

  6. Gabe's funny, I'm surprised the DQ wasn't sitting on top the lid.

When my daughter was younger and we played hide-and-seek, she'd hide in the laundry hamper every time. If we played at night, she'd turn the room light on since she was afraid of the dark. I pretended like I didn't know where she was and acted surprised when I finally found her. Good times.

  7. P.S. I'm very curious to get your human input on blood cord banks.

  8. That's so funny, I can watch that video all day :). Which reminds me, I don't remember playing hide and seek with my daughter ever!

And yes, I too am curious as to what you think about blood cord banks :)

  9. Inquiring minds want to know? Well it's nice to know I have a following of Robots. Maybe, when the world gets all Terminator-like, because they are smarter than we are, I'll say, "hey, it's Cari, you read my blog!". Then maybe they'll give me a nice cushy job in a factory instead of disintegrating me. I'll put in a good word for you all.

It's also plausible that alien life reads my blog. Because really, if they live among us, seems smart to work at a cord blood bank. And I imagine they work at Wal-Mart too.

  10. LOVEEEEEE! Nice cheese!!!! You guys crack me up!

  11. Too funny!! He is such a cutie, and very funny! Makes me miss the days of no care in the world and the impromptu "hey lets play hide and seek". I had the greatest hiding place EVER, I used to hide on the shelf in the top of the closet, I had to hold my breath to keep from laughing like a hyena when they cam and looked in the closet, never thinking to look up. Good times, I was the queen of something, woohoo!

I so look forward to your posts Cari, You crack me up. Thank you!

Hope you are having a wonderful week! :-)
